Shipping Policy

International Shipping: (updated 8/4/09)
In addition to shipping anywhere in the US , we are now currently offering shipping to Canada and the U.K. via USPS First Class Mail International Package (for items totaling up to 3 pounds) and USPS International Priority Mail. Rates currently start as low as $2.23 (First Class) / $19 (Priority) to Canada and $2.44 (First Class) / $26.50 (Priority) to the UK.

We appreciate your patience as we try to lower our shipping costs to other countries. We currently ship worldwide via UPS, but at higher rates than those quoted above.

For International orders, shipping time frames are generally 1-2 weeks, depending on your location. Please note that we HOLD all non-Canadian & UK international shipments for an additional 14 business days to protect against fraud and chargebacks. Please understand that this is for our protection and do let us know if you have any questions regarding this policy.

Processing:

Processing times are noted on each product. Please consult each product you order and add the longest processing time to shipping transit time.

Orders with minimal turnaround time: Some orders received by 9pm Central Time will usually ship the next business day. Orders received past 9pm Central usually ship within two business days. We will ship orders placed over the weekend or on National Holidays the following business day.

Orders with longer turnaround time: Examples of this include items that are custom-made, or personalized. Please add this processing time to shipping transit time you select during checkout.

Redeliveries:

We are glad to update shipping information before your order has shipped. However, re-deliveries and re-routes after a package has been shipped will incur ad 20% service fee of the subtotal of the items.

Free Shipping:
All orders shipped using Free Shipping will ship via USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority, or UPS Ground. When your order ships, you will receive an email specifying the shipping method with tracking number, so that you can track your package via the carrier's website (UPS), or get a record of when you package was delivered (USPS - please note they do not allow you to actually track your package through their website. The confirmation number's main purpose is to show where/when it was delivered. From time to time, package movement can be seen on their website, but it is unequal to, and is not intended to be able to show package movement like UPS). Packages usually take between 2 - 10 business days to arrive to your home, depending on your location. Please note that Free Shipping only applies to orders shipping to the USA and orders shipped to a single address.

While we provide a general time frame of when your package may arrive with Free Shipping, that timeframe is never guaranteed. In order to continue providing free shipping, we employ the lowest cost shipping method. For orders under a pound (about 10 pairs of Babylegs), that method is typically USPS First Class Mail. Since First Class Mail is a volume service, delivery of your package always depends on the volume of mail where you live, and your carrier's (yes, the person who delivers mail to your house) ability to deliver the package to you on the day they get it. This is why free shipping orders take so much longer to reach you during the holidays. If you need your package by a specific date, please order at least a month in advance or choose a different shipping method.

Package Delivery Many free shipping orders are sent USPS first class mail. This means that your order will arrive via your regular postal worker. We use USPS delivery confirmation numbers to confirm delivery to your location, and we are not responsible for the mishandling or misplacement of your package by the Postal Service or anyone who intercepts your package at your location. Unless otherwise noted, ALL orders are FOB St. Louis, MO.

Pre-Orders:
Occasionally we are able to secure promised shipments of extremely high-demand items. For those items, we take preorders. Each preorder product will note the approximate shipping date both near the add to cart button and at the bottom of the page. Please note that we will not ship your order until the pre-ordered items have arrived. If this is unacceptable, please place separate orders for both in stock and pre ordered items, as each will have separate shipping costs associated with them.

Alaska & Hawaii:
Items shipping to both Alaska & Hawaii may take a few days longer than indicated. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding these timeframes.

Expedited Shipping:
If you would like to receive your order at an expedited rate, we are pleased to offer UPS & USPS Expedited Services. Extra fees apply when using these methods. Applicable fees will be posted during checkout.

Please note that our daily cutoff for expedited packages is Noon, CST. Packages needing 2 day or Overnight (to be received on the 1st or second business day) must be ordered by this time, otherwise they will be received the following business day.

Backorders and Out of Stock Items:
Generally, all products are in stock, unless noted on the website. However, from time to time, stock items become backordered during the course of a day. When this happens, you will be notified via email which items are backordered and given a date range in which they will be shipped. We will ship the in-stock items right away and send your backordered items as soon as we receive them.

Shipping Speed:
The following are approximate transit times by shipping method. Use these to calculate the approximate day on which your order will arrive to your home. Prices of these methods will be calculated in checkout, as they are dependent on the weight and dimensions of your order. Variable speeds (for example: UPS Ground: 1-4 Business Days) will depend on your location and its proximity to the Midwest (our location).

• We reserve the right to upgrade the shipping method on an order, from one that was originally purchased, if the new shipping method is of equal or greater value (at no charge to the customer).
• Ground shipments will never arrive on a Saturday or Sunday, ever.
• AFL/PO Boxes must ship via USPS.
• Please ensure that you provide the most accurate shipping information possible, and the recipient's phone number where possible. Due to rising postage and fuel costs, we can no longer send packages for redelivery at our expense. Redelivery fees are $20.
• Abandoned Packages: Many of our smaller parcels are shipped using USPS. Occasionally, the postal service cannot deliver to your address for a number of reasons. Should they leave notice with you, and you fail to pick up the package from the post office, and it is returned to us, we will charge a $20 redelivery fee. Alternatively, we will refund the cost of your order, minus a $10 restocking fee.
